Wijn Marketing Awards 2011 for wine brand Canei
Winetracks International and brand agency Miazo have been awarded the “Wine Marketing Award 2011 ‘for the most innovative marketing campaign 2011’ Canei invite You?. November 10th, the annual Wine Marketing Award from Productschap Wijn is awarded to Canei. The famous wine brand won the prize for the most innovative marketing campaign, rolled out this year. The bottles were given a new look, it launched a new website and a special ‘Invite Canei’ mobile app was developed. Especially the cross-media aspect of the campaign, including social media pages like Facebook and Twitter, have set a new standard in the wine category. Excellent underpinned results Winetracks International and Miazo succeeded in activating the brand Canei successfully by integrating social media and traditional marketing tools in an innovative approach. The results show that they convincingly succeeded in reinforcing wine consumption and enhancing the positive perception of wine products. The ”Invite Canei ‘app made thousands of Canei fans find each other on the map, offers free (group) chat, and let them share their best moments. In addition, the jury was impressed by the openness of Winetracks International towards providing numeral insights into the effectiveness of its efforts. For these reasons, the jury praised Winetracks International and rewarded her with the highest honor. The jury judged the submitted cases on originality, creativity, innovation and effectiveness. The approach of the most popular wine brand in the Netherlands, developed from the consumer perspective, was really appreciated by the jury.
