Baarsma Wine Group Holding takes over Kaapkelder B.V.
Starting from 15 January 2007 Baarsma Wine Group Holding will take over the distribution of the Kaapkelder assortment. This portfolio is produced by Distell, the largest supplier of quality wines in South Africa. In close consultation with the current distributor Vinites, the transition of the Distell wines has been finalized. South Africa South African wines still represent an important growth segment for the Dutch market. The take-over of Kaapkelder is part of the growth strategy of Baarsma Wine Group Holding. The assortment of Distell wines not only consist of the Cape Legends wines, but also of the brands Drostdy-Hof, Fleur du Cap, Durbanville Hills, and Two Oceans.
